Dirt eish ... Ulgh, where to start. Picture this you are wearing a white outfit, hair all done up and you are looking quite the diva. Well if you are a guy you are in this light grey suit, looking slick baby. Anyway you are walking down the road, and ahead there is a dump. (Oh come on guys this is everywhere e.g walk along fifth going towards sixth avenue towards fife ave shops between herbert chitepo and fife ave. Nway back to the story... The first thing that gets your attention is the smell, then the flies, then pile of rubbish and the rotting foodstuffs, women's used..... etc, cans, bottles and you decide let me cross over. But as you do, you step on a PET bottle and you are sprayed with this brown smelly liquid. You lift your leg, take a side step and the next thing you have stepped on a rotting banana peel , you slip, fall and end up lying in the rubbish. People stop and look at you, others laugh and others think you are crazy. When you getup, you are wearing camouflage ( different shades of brown)and of course you smell nasty. From diva or slick to eish get out of my way. Those who didnt see you fall think you are crazy. To get into a kombi "eish garai kure neni", "moto bhadhara seat rese, hapana anoda kugara nemi" and "Hmmm, doro itai shoma, kudhakwa kwaka dai kwakaipa, matikuvadza" etc imagine the comments. By the time you reach home, all dignity is gone, plans forgotten and by now you are itching...... If it were you, what would you do??? Guys dirt aint cool...!!! Well lets hear what you gotta say.... Its about time.............!!! ( watch the space)
Eish, i think we need to define what dirt is??? Some say dirt is "dirt is what you track in on your mother's floor, soil is what plants grow in."
In another point of view, dirt is the opposite of clean, but what is clean? a thing is clean when it has no impurities, no mixtures. When your mom washes your jeans very well, it is clean. Now if you put it on and go to play outside, and run and play, do a lot of things, your jeans becomes dirty, covered with impurities, and must be washed again. So the dirt over it can be a lot of things: earth powder, a piece of ice-cream, ink or colored pencils blots, oil, ketchup, and so on. I mean anything that makes something unclean can be called dirt.
